Mrs. W. H. Morgan, answered the last summons, Saturday morning after a long illness.
Amanda Isaacs was born August 15, 1871 In Jackson County, Kentucky and departed this life on November 1, 1947 at her home ln Coweta at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 17 days. She was married on June 28, 1897 to W. H. Morgan. To this union seven children were born.
Surviving relatives are the husband, W. H. Morgan; five sons, Andy Morgan of Muldrow, Elmer Morgan of Porter, . Virgil Morgan of Fort Gibson, Leonard and Albert Morgan both of Coweta; two daughters, Sarah Jane Morgan of the home and Mrs. Floyd Dobbins, Jr. of Coweta; 29 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Morgan became a member of the Missionary. Baptist church at Moore Creek, Ky. when she was 15 years old and has remained a devoted Christian through the many years.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Coweta, Sunday afternoon with Rev. S. U. Butts in charge.
Pallbearers were T. P. Luker, Harry Howard, R. H. Caldwell, R. R, King, J. P. Cypert and Elmer Dale.
Interment under the direction of Wright Funeral Home was made in the Vernon cemetery.
