James Robert Bogle, age 73, passed away on Friday, May 7th, 2021 in his home in Lake City, FL. He was born on May 22nd, 1947 in Toledo, OH to the late William Henry Bogle Sr. and Maxine Brown Bogle. He married his first wife, Barbara Smith (Bogle), and had three children. After Barbara's passing in 1989, he married his second wife.

James, or "Bogleman," cherished his family and friends. His door was always open if you ever needed anything, never turning his back on anyone. He not only raised his own children, but also two stepdaughters. He helped many other family members and took care of his grandchildren, who knew him as "Papaw." One of the things he loved to do was take his motorhome to various campgrounds to go fishing.

His zest for life was infectious and made his home a popular place for people to hang out. You never knew what was going to happen at Bogleman's house, but it was guaranteed to be eventful! He definitely lived life to the fullest, and was always the life of the party. He always made sure everyone knew they were loved, he would say, "Has anyone today told you they loved you? Well, I'm telling you now, I love you!"

A graveside funeral will be conducted on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Interment will follow. Visitation with the family will be from 3:00 PM till 3:45 PM at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
