Beverly Gail Hansen, 94, of Hitchcock died Thursday May 6, 2021, at her residence.

Beverly was born September 18, 1926, in Galveston to Michael Joseph Hussey and Josephine Martha Sanderson Hussey. She worked all her life as an Administrative Assistant in health care. She was a woman of faith and a member of Holy Family Parish.

Linda Hansen-(Beverly Hansen's daughter in law)- "I've known Ms. Hansen for 40 years. We've gone through the good, the bad and the ugly. I must say that I have enjoyed the rollercoaster ride of emotions. She was a devoted mother to her son and was an avid animal lover. She also loved her grandchildren dearly.

Cory- (Beverly's grandson) "I remember the times spent on the weekends at grandma's house and there would never be a moment I would go hungry. Even if the food wasn't the healthiest. Grandma was very witty and always enjoyed a good joke even if she was the subject of them. I will miss you and the phone calls we shared. I know you will be watching over the family alongside dad. Until we meet again, I love you grandma.

Funeral services are at noon Monday, May 10, 2021, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock.
