TEXAS CITY - Joyce Hendrix Harrell passed away
on Thursday October 26, 2000,
at Danforth Gardens. She was a lifelong (BOI)
Galvestonian. Mrs. Harrell worked for the
U.S. Public Health Service Hospital here in
Galveston until it closed down. She also worked for UTMB.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael J. and
Josephine Hussey; and her brother Joseph O. Hussey.
She is survived by her son Gregory Hendrix of Omaha,
Nebraska; sister Beverly Gail Hansen of Galveston;
brother Michael S. Hussey of Scott, La.; and nephew
Anthony J. Hansen of Santa Fe, Texas.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday,
October 31, 2000 at 1:00p.m. at Galveston Memorial
Park Cemetery with the Reverend Lewis Groce officiating.
