Celebration of Life Services, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 15, 2021 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Carr, son of the late Frank Julian Carr and Gladys Tomlin Carr, was a native of Dale County.
He served in the Vietnam War aboard the USS Vesole and retired from the United States Navy after twenty years of service.
Following his retirement from the Navy, he worked for the Ozark Police Department for ten years and then was employed by Range Control at Fort Rucker.
Mr. Carr was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie Carr, Wayne Carr, and Maxie Carr.
