Anna Frances Schnare - 1927-2021

Anna Frances Schnare – age 94, of Centreville, formerly of Steam Mill, Kings County, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late John Edward and Ethel Mae (Shea) Aker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend who devoted much of her life to family. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Kentville and enjoyed spending time with those she loved. She especially enjoyed Sunday suppers, Friday night cards, BBQ's, traveling to Ontario, the east coast of the United States and Europe. She is survived by her children, Donna Ells, Karen Penner, and David Schnare, all of Centreville; Kenneth (Joanne) Schnare, Steam Mill; daughter-in-law, Donna Aker; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; sisters, Frances, Evangeline and Mildred; brothers, John, Hugh, Graham, Harold and Gordon; daughters-in-law, Lantha Aker and Linda Schnare; sons-in-law, Kenneth "Howe" Ells and Art Penner.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. A private graveside service will be held in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill,
