Last of the eight (8) children of John Sylvester & Charlotte Fisher Brandenburg, all born at Dilles Bottom. He likely was buried in the Lockwood Cemetery there or Greenwood, then Rose Hills, in Bellaire, where his parents were later buried in unmarked graves, but that is unclear as no certain record of his death has been found other than a newspaper clipping, attached hereto, showing he died at age 10. There is record of a Bruce Lockwood, age 10 (10 years, 5 months) dying 4/15/1882 in Bellaire, with J. L. & E. T Lockwood identified as his parents - handwriting is open to interpretation. No Lockwoods by those initials are known, but are likely the same, although age/DOB off a few months. An older brother, Sanford Dille, and his wife named their first son Sylvester Bruce, which might have been in honor of this boy.
