Anita Marie (Long) Taylor, 66, died Jan. 9, 2021, at her home in Nampa, Idaho.

Anita was born on April 20, 1954, in San Gabriel, to parents Maynard and Irene Long. She graduated from Yucaipa High School in 1972 and married her husband of 48 years, James William Taylor, on June 23, 1972. They had two daughters, Megan and Melody.

The family lived in Yucaipa until moving to Phelan, in 1993 and then to Idaho in 2016. Anita enjoyed a variety of art including painting, sewing, home decorating, and gardening. She had a small home embroidery business for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was loved and will be missed by so many.
The last several years were hard for Anita as her disease slowly took her ability to walk and to do the things she loved so much. But even so, she always had a smile and a kind word for anyone she met. She never gave up and worked hard to do everything she could as long as God would allow. Her family takes comfort knowing she was at peace and ready to go Home.

Anita is preceded in death by her parents Maynard Lee Long and Irene Edna (Ower) Long.

Anita is survived by her husband, James William Taylor; daughters Megan (and John) Bryant and Melody (and Rich) Townson; brothers Donald (and Linda) Casey and Greg (and Tami) Long; sister Clydel (and Ron) Giannini, her brother-in-law Pat (and Susie) Taylor; grandchildren Dylan (and Monique) Camp, Ashley (and Garrett) Rutherford, Casey Bryant, Noah Bryant, Austin Camp, Laci-Ann Townson, Savannah Townson, Alex and Jacob Townson, and four great- grandchildren.

A service was held at Lake Hazel Bible Church in Boise, Idaho on Feb. 13, 2021.
