He was born in Martinsville on February 22, 1975, the son of Phillip Donald Marshall, Sr. and Brenda Dickerson Young.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lewis Marshall and Mazel Marshall, and maternal grandfather, Eldridge Dickerson.
In addition to his parents, Donnie is survived by his son, Ryan Phillip Marshall (fiancé Whitney Buck) of Jacksonville, NC; step-father, Ronnie Young of Collinsville; sister, Lisa Morgan (Brooks) of Fieldale; grandson, Kayden Marshall; maternal grandmother, Florine Hammock of Eden, NC; step-brother, Bruce Young (Candace) of Martinsville; nephews, Cameron Morgan and Rhett Young; niece, Amber Morgan.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021, at 2:00 PM in Fair Haven Memorial Park in Spencer with Pastor Tim Wood officiating.
