Evelyn G. Rodgers

Evelyn Grace Rodgers, 88, of Parkersburg died Friday, May 6, 2005, at The Arbors of Marietta.

She was born Dec. 6, 1916, at Bruceton Mills, W.Va., a daughter of the late Dorsey J. and Ruth Martin Spiker. She was a long time member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Parkersburg, where she was active in the Rebecca Circle.

She is survived by two daughters, Sally Schaad of Parkersburg and Joyce Rodgers of Columbus, Ohio; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, Donald A. Rodgers who died in 1995; and one son, Donald K. Rodgers.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, with the Rev. Maurice A. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen North Cemetery, Parkersburg. The family will receive friends from noon - 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
