Nettie Sproles Cross was buried in Glenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Cross, of Bristol TN, died Thursday, May 13, 1999. She was born in Sullivan County, a former employee of Big Jack Manufacturing Co., and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Lucille Hamm of New Concord, OH, and Bettie Kilonis of Victorville, CA; a son, Jack A. Cross of Bristol TN; a brother, James D. Sproles of Bristol TN; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Also, Mrs. Cross was preceded in death by a son, James "Bud" Cross, a sister, Thelma Simpson; and two brothers, Lee Sproles and Kyle Sproles.
