Isabella Lyle, fifth daughter of Robert Lyle, and twin sister of Rosannah Lyle Reed, was born October 21, 1902. Although her twin sister, Mrs. Reed is described as a large woman, Isabella was of a slight build and is said to have weighed less than one hundred pounds. She married John White of near Buffalo Village in Washington County and their married life was spent on a farm in Canton township, near Buffalo, and here John White died October 23, 1868. Mrs. White death occurred in Washington, Penna., on Feb 16, 1872. The family of John and Isabella Lyle White consisted of six sons and two daughters.
