Married 17 wonderful years to Barbara Holt Poole, he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Sam graduated from Parker High School in 1946. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of Berea First Baptist Church. He retired from Davis Electrical Int. Corp. Sam loved his work and it was an integral part of his life. But there was nothing more important to him than God and family.
He is survived by three sons: Russell Poole(Vivian), Sam Poole(Robbie), Henry Poole(Becky); sisters: Mary Culbertson, Jean Stegall, Yvonne Moore(Joe); brothers: Norman Poole, Bennie Poole; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents he was predeceased by his first wife: Sara (Jo) Poole; daughter: Marie Hart; step-sons: Bryan Holt, Barry Holt; sister: Romola Grant; and 2 grandchildren.
