A native of Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Henry Oscar and Agnes Craigo Poole, retired from insurance sales, and was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Lee Ross Peden, III and Jimmy Grant; two daughters, Robin Steele and Becky Harbour; three brothers, Samuel O. “Buster” Poole, Bennie W. Poole, and Norman Poole; three sisters, Mary Culbertson, Jean Stegall, and Yvonne Moore; and six grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by her first husband, Lee Ross Peden, Jr. and a son, Michael Anthony Peden.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Woodside Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Jimmy Tarrant. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery West.
Visitation will be held 11:00 until 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
