Ella P. Flesher, 84, of Sharpsburg, GA, passed away May 2, 2021. was held at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Rd., Marietta, GA 30066. The funeral service was held at Christ Worship Center, 3393 Canton Rd, Marietta, GA 30066 with interment following at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, 1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064.

Ella Pearl (Howard) Flesher was born on March 4th, 1937 in Wagoner, Oklahoma and passed away May 2nd, 2021 at home in Sharpsburg, GA.  Ella was one of nine children born to Homer Earlen and Bertha Mae (Chastain) Howard in Wagoner, Oklahoma.  She attended school at Blue Mount and Clearfield Grade Schools and graduated from Coweta High School.

She married Billy Joe Flesher of 62 years. They raised two children, son, David Joe Flesher and daughter, Karen Kay (Flesher) Lewis.

Ella was a member of Christ Worship Center in Marietta, GA. She held many positions in leadership as a faithful servant willing to help in any way.

Ella is survived by her husband of 62 years, Billy Joe Flesher. They were married in Coweta, OK May 27th, 1958. Survivors also include daughter, Karen (and husband Gary) Lewis, of Sharpsburg, GA, twin brother, Jim Howard of Coweta, OK, grandsons; Patrick Joe Flesher and Ryan Darrel Flesher of Marietta, GA and their mother, Sherri (Flesher) Miller, 5 nieces; Wanda Lee, Elaine, Wanda Susan, Donna and Gina, and 6 nephews; George, Jimmy Paul, Earl Lee, Bobby Gene, Mark and Steve Ray.

Ella was preceded in death by her son, David Joe Flesher, grandson, Tyler Lewis Flesher, father, Homer Howard, mother, Bertha Mae Howard, three brothers; Walter Howard, Earl Howard, and Gene Howard, four sisters; Rosalee Garrison, Georgia Bell, Hazel Overall and Faye Martin, and nephews; Gerald Overall and John Overall.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ella's honor to the Alzheimer's Association .
