Marjorie Ruth Martin, age 81, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born February 2, 1940 and died May 2, 2021 at Erlanger Hospital following an extended illness.
She was a retired custodian and crossing guard with the Warren County School System, a member of East End Drive Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late Harrison Eugene and Catherine Spurlock Biles, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Josephine Crabtree, and two sons, Harrison Biles, Jr., and Robert Biles.
Ms. Martin is survived by son, Anthony Biles; granddaughter, Ebony Victoria Biles; three sisters and brother-in-law, Sally and Frank Smith, Barbara Biles, and Frankie Dalton all of McMinnville, TN; and brother, George Biles of Nashville, TN. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021 in High's Chapel with Jerry Rutledge officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at High's.
