Mrs. Kathy J. "Kat" Clark age 67 of Hope, Arkansas passed away, Friday, October 25, 2019 at Howard Memorial Hospital. Kat was born September 23, 1952 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Harold and Sybil Calloway Barksdale. She was a retired assistant to resident Engineer for the Arkansas Highway Department and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Kat collected antique cars, loved riding horses, eating out or cooking with friends. She was a loving devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother David Barksdale.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years; Gary Dean Clark, one son; Kevin Clark wife April of Greenbrier, AR, one daughter; Stacey Davis husband Richard of Kingston, OK, two sisters; Hazel Hawkins of Mandeville, LA, Judy Plyler husband Wendell of Gulf Shores, AL, five grandchildren; Kaylee, Carter, Carlee, Taylor, and Tatum, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Monday, October 28, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. Neil Ridling and Bro Terry Evans officiating. Burial to follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
