William (Willie) Wellington Hobbs, 79 of Pearisburg, VA passed away on Friday, April 24, 2021, at his home.

Willie was born on September 1, 1941, in Pearisburg and was a son of the late Willie Wellington Hobbs and Mary Ellen Stump Hobbs.

He is survived by loving cousins, Barbara Sarver (Terry) of Pearisburg, Judy Stables (Cecil) of Narrows Rhonda Tomlin of Lynchburg, Kathy Stafford of Pearisburg, and family and friends.

A Memorial service will be conducted Monday, May 3, 2021, at the Givens Funeral Chapel on Monday, May 3, 2021, at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. The family will receive friends at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg 1 hour before the service from 1 – 2 pm. We will be observing COVID-19 precautions, please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
