Mildred Dianne Brooks, 73, of Phenix City, AL died at her residence on Thursday, April 29, 2021.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM (EST) on Sunday, May 02, 2021 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL . A private interment will be held in Lakeview Memory Gardens on Monday. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM (EST) at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brooks was born September 10, 1947 in Jackson, GA daughter of the late Charles Baxter and Agnes Lewis Baxter.

She worked for the Russell County School District as a bus driver for 19 years. Dianne loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by all, and will be remembered as a beautiful woman with a heart of gold as she was willing to help anyone. We will miss her in our daily routine, but she will always be remembered in our hearts.

Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Billy Gaylon Brooks and two sons, Mark Anthony Lynn and Darrell Johnson.

Survivors include her three children, James D. Lynn, Phenix City, AL, Joseph T. Moss, Bryon, GA and Tammie Keller, Dexter, MO; extended generations...
