She was retired from G.E. of Waynesboro, and owner of Shirley's Ceramics of Afton. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Fitzgerald Sr.
She is survived by her husband, William Bragg, of Crimora; her son, Harold Fitzgerald and his wife, Tamatha, of Afton; her daughter, Wanda D. McBride and her husband, Doug, of Waynesboro; two sisters, June P. Taylor and her husband, Willie, also of Afton and Patricia A. Broyles and friend, Dean Humphries of Hot Springs; one brother Roger L. Patrick and his wife, Pamela, of Afton, eight grand-children, Matthew, Samantha, Kayla, Anthony, Dakota, Andrea, Laura and Kelly; seven nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and special friends, Joyce Huffman and Mary Thacker of Afton.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston with the Rev. Whitney Critzer will be officiating, Interment in the Beech Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. at Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel in Lovingston.
