Everett J. "Doc" Boxell, 72, died at 8 a.m. Friday, May 30, 1986, at Kosciusko Community Hospital at Warsaw.
Mr. Boxell was a retired farmer. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Warren, past master of King Lodge 246 F&AM, Warren, and a member of Warren Chapter 269 Order of Eastern Star, Scottish Rite Valley of Ft. Wayne, and the Warren Conservation Club.
He was born may 27, 1914 in Huntington County to Jacob and Chloe Roush Boxell. His mother survives and is a resident of Meadowvale Care Center, Bluffton.
His marriage was on Feb. 12, 1936 to the former Thelma Stech, who survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Vicki Mather, Ft. Wayne, and Mrs. Jack (Becky) Tomanek, Bolingbrook, Ill; and two grandsons.
Services were held at the Butler Funeral Home on Monday, June 2 with the Rev. Basil Funk officiating. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery

Warren Resident, Everett Boxell, 72, Dies Suddenly

A retired Warren farmer, Everett J. "Doc" Boxell, 72, of 115 West Fourth St., died suddenly at 8 a.m. Friday at Kokomo[sic -Kosciusko] Community Hospital at Warsaw.

A son of Jacob and Chloe Roush Boxell, he was born May 27, 1914, in Huntington County. His marriage to Thelma Stech, of Meadowvale Care Center, took place Feb. 12, 1936.

Mr. Boxell a past master of King Masonic Lodge of Warsaw, was a member of the United Church of Christ of Warren, Warren chapter of Order of Eastern Star, Scottish Rites of Fort Wayne and the Warren Conservation Club.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Vickie Mather of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Jack (Becky) Tomanek of Bowlingbrook, Ill., and two grandsons.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. today at Butler Funeral Home at Warren. Rev. Basil Fulk officiated and burial was at the Masonic Cemetery in Warren. Preferred are memorials to the Heart fund.
