Jacob A. Boxell Dies at Age of 95; Rites Sunday
A retired farmer, Jacob A. Boxell, 95, died at 7:30 a.m. Friday at Meadowvale Care Center, where he had been a patient since becoming ill 2 ½ years ago.
Born Nov. 7, 1888 in Huntington County, he was a son of Ezekiel and Margaret A. Gephart Boxell. His marriage to Chloe Ann Roush, who survives and resides at Meadowvale, took place Sept. 17, 1910.
Mr. Boxell, a lifelong resident of Huntington County, formerly resided at Warren.
In addition to the wife, he is survived by a son, Everett J. (Doc) Boxell of Warren; a brother, Elbridge Boxell of Olney, Ill., two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the H. Brown & Son Funeral Home at Warren, where services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Robert Boyd will officiate and burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Warren.
