Malinda Buckmaster was born May 25, 1852 in Home's County, Ohio. She came to Wisconsin with her parents in 1856.

She was united in marriage to John Orison Morse on July 3, 1870. He preceded her in death October 18, 1891.

To this union 6 children were born, James Morse, Mary Etta (Frederick) Seekatz, Esther (Edward) Crowley, Harriet (Harlow) Musselman, Olive (George) Lawrence and Julia (Thomas) Shields.

In 1895 she was united in marriage to Henry Hamilton who departed this life July 24, 1915.

She was preceded in death by her husbands and her son James who passed away on March 25, 1926.
