Evelyn Adams Yana, of Ellijay, formerly of Fannin County, passed away June 9, 2015 at Heritage Hospice in Marietta.

A member of Salem Baptist Church #2, she was preceded in death by her parents, Burley and Minnie Thomas; brothers and sister; Porter Thomas, Howard Thomas, Nebraska Picklesimer, Freddie Thomas and Carl Thomas.

Evelyn was department manager at Walmart in the fabrics and crafts department before she retired.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 at 4:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home witH Interment TO follow in the Salem Baptist Church #2 Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-9 pm on Thursday evening.
