BLAKENEY NEWS
The many friends of Mrs Andrew McPhail were shocked to learn that she had passed away on Thursday morning after an illness extending over only a few days, from erysipelas which developed into blood poisoning. Deceased, who was only in her 24th year, was formerly Rebecca Jane Armstrong, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Wm Armstrong, and she had by her kind and lovable disposition won the admiration of those who knew her. Besides her husband she is survived by her parents, three sisters and one brother. to whom is extended the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends on their sad bereavement, The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock to the eighth line cemetery and a lengthy cortege accompanied by remains to their last resting place. Rev D.M. McLeod conducted the service at the home and at the grave.
