Pamela Dederer-Pecorelli passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on April 6, 2021. She was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer less than 3 years ago. She was 50 years of age.

Pam grew up in Hyde Park, N.Y., the daughter of Roger and Elizabeth Dederer. She attended Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, graduating in 1988. Pam graduated Syracuse University in 1992 and was a proud member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Pam began her successful fashion career in Boston, starting with Filenes Department Stores as a Buyer. She became a Sales Director for Bennett Footwear in 2000. In 2007, she moved to New York City where she became a National Sales Manager for Via Spiga with Brown Shoe Company. In 2011, Pam began with the Nine West Group as a VP of Sales, Nine West Footwear. In 2016, she became EVP of Sales for Bernardo Footwear, Peter Marcus Group. In 2018, Pam became VP of Sales, Kate Spade Footwear at Steve Madden. Pam was an avid runner, a Red Sox and Patriots fan and world traveler. She had a passion for traveling with her friends and family, whether it be to Paris, Italy, Costa Rica, Napa, Sonoma, or the Jersey shore. She lived every day with enthusiasm, compassion, grace, courage and love. Pam taught us to become better by her example.

On May 12, 2018 Pam married the love of her life, Frank Pecorelli, Jr. who lives in their home of Huntington, NY. She was predeceased by her father Roger, and is survived by her mother, Betty of Hyde Park, NY, her sister Julie of Hinesburg, VT and her stepsons, Frank and Robert of NYC and Huntington. Several generations of extended family and many friends mourn her loss.
