BARBARA BROWN, 78, of Mulhearn Drive, a retired bank teller, died Thursday at West Shore Health Center, Warwick.
She was the wife of Raymond H. Brown. They would have been married for 55 years next month.
Born in Providence on Aug. 31, 1922, a daughter of the late John and Phoebe (Brown) Ritchie, she had lived in Warwick for more than 38 years before moving to Bonita Springs, Fla., where she lived for 10 years, spending summers in Coventry. She moved to Coventry three years ago.
Mrs. Brown was a teller in operations for Fleet Bank for 20 years, retiring in 1984.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, a daughter and four grandchildren.
