Florine Thomas, 72, died Monday, Oct. 27, 1997.
A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Thomas was a daughter of the late Bonnie and Mary Dalton Jackson. She was a member of Oconee Baptist Church in Stephens.
Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Charlie Johnson; three granddaughters, Fredshia Johnson, Athens, Tiahasha Evans, Atlanta, and Tracy Ross, Jonesboro; two grandsons, Santino Evans and Verlin Evans, both of Atlanta; and four great-grandchildren.
