He is also found in the 1890 US Veterans schedule of the US Census. According to this document he lived in the Wind Rock community of Anderson Co. and he was shot in the neck during the war.
Most likely died in 1905. His spouse Cynthia C Duncan filed for his pension in Jan. 1906.
