New Iberia, LA - A Home-going Celebration of Life will be held for Mr. James "Solo" " Man-Man" Joseph, Jr. 25 at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Fletcher Funeral Home. Rev. Marvette Johnson will officiate.

He will await the resurrection in St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville, LA.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 11:30 A.M. until the time of the service.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home and cemetery.

A resident of Abbeville, LA he passed at 9:52 A.M. Friday April 9, 2021 in Abbeville, LA.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents: Tangy Zeno of Lafayette, LA and James Joseph, Sr. of Abbeville, LA; one son: Carson Tre' Scott of Abbeville, LA; three brothers: Fabion Walker of Abbeville, LA, Mervin Alexis, Jr. and Abram Landry of Lafayette, LA; two half-brothers: Tray Joseph and Clarence Griffin of West Virginia; three sisters: Destany Joseph, Tyresha Joseph and Abreana Landry all of Lafayette, LA; maternal grandmother: Lillie Plowden of Lafayette, LA; godmother: Mary Scott Applewhite of KY; paternal grandparents: Loren Scott of VA and Margaret Mae Willis of Abbeville, LA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Jacolby Walker, Sr.; maternal grandfather: Dalton Plowden, Sr.; and one uncle: Dalton Plowden, Jr.

Active Pallbearers are Trevis Hudson, Jotrel Taylor, Cody Arceneaux, Devonte St Julien, Jaylon Ozenne and Cleveland Hamilton.

Honorary Pallbearers are Fabian Walker, Mervin Alexis, Jr., Abram Landry, Tray Joseph, Clarence Griffin and Baylon Taylor.
