He married first Elizabeth Bull September 8, 1873. He married second Clarissa Marina Taggart December 6, 1875 in Salt Lake City, Utah. His third wife Edith Benson he married January 27, 1886 in Logan, Utah. His fourth wife Margaret Wallace Sloan he married September 1890.
William Brigham Parkinson Sr. was born April 4, 1852 in Bradford, Yorkshire, England. When he was a boy he and his family joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and emigrated to St. Louis, Missouri, USA, where his mother died. His father remarried and emigrated to Oregon but died en route.
William lived with his stepmother in Oregon but ran away at age 12, eventually making his way to Utah. William worked as a telegraph operator and storekeeper and served a mission in England.
Later he become a doctor and practiced in Morgan and later Cache County, Utah. He had four wives and numerous children.

PIONEER DOCTOR OF LOGAN PASSES AWAY
LOGAN, Nov. 11--Dr. William Brigham Parkinson veteran physician and surgeon of Logan, died at the family residence, 69 South First West Street, at a late hour Tuesday night, following an illness of fourteen months resulting from an attack of influenza. Dr. Parkinson had practiced medicine in Logan for thirty-five years and was well-known throughout the state and Idaho because of his long service.
Dr. Parkinson was born at Bradford, Yorkshire, England, April 4, 1852. He came to this country early in his youth and took up the study of medicine. He attended the Rush Medical College and the Louisville Medical College and had diplomas from both institutions. He had practiced his profession in Logan and Cache County ever since his graduation. He also was known as a writer on medical subjects.
