She was born in Moore County, NC, a daughter of the late John Gallimore and Theo DeWitt Gallimore.
She worked as the manager of the loan delivery department and retired from Washington Mutual. She was a member of the Eastside Christian Church where she taught Sunday school and was church treasurer.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Donal; daughter, Donna Gayle Parsons; brother, Lewis Gallimore, and brother-in-law, Steve Williams.
She is survived by her son, Jeff (Angel) Parsons of Florence; grandchild, Ansley Parsons of Florence; brother, Donald (Cheryl) Gallimore of Gaffney; sister, Wanda Williams of Rockingham, NC; sister-in-law, Judy Gallimore of Fayetteville, NC.
Memorials may be made to Eastside Christian Church, 3541 E Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29506.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Mt. Hope Mausoleum.
