Brenda Trent "Spot" Thomas, 72, of Lynchburg passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harold Clifford Thomas, Jr.
Born in Lynchburg, September 25, 1948, she was the only daughter of the late Eugene Rucker Trent and Jewell Lorene Via Trent.
She is survived by three daughters, Angela Brown of Appomattox, Susan Lowman and her husband Scott and Christie Fitzgerald and her husband Robert all of Altavista; seven grandchildren, Ashleigh Mathews and her husband Casey, Tyler Thomas and his wife Emily, Blake Fitzgerald, Lauren Fitzgerald, Justice Fitzgerald, Jaden Brown, and Nicholas Lowman; two great-grandchildren, Star and Stella Matthews; her cousin, Mary Stanford and a close friend, Janet West.
A graveside service celebrating her life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Spring Hill Cemetery with Celebrant Polly Starnes officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of her daughter Christie.
