He was born in Martinsville on December 9, 1954, to the late Ira JP Foster and the late Lonie Clark Foster.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Donnie Ray Foster, Bobby Joe Foster, and a sister, Tammy Lynn Foster.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ann Wright Foster; son, Lane Foster; daughter, Jennifer Surber and husband, Travis; granddaughter, Gemma Surber.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, April 18, 2021, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where the funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Blake Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Henry Memorial Park. Due to the governor's requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed when visiting the church.
