Donna Kathleen Benton Baker, 75 of Shallotte died Thursday, April 15, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Kathy, as she was known, was born in Pennsylvania on March 20, 1946, daughter of the late Richard Paul Bragunier and Doris Jean Bragunier.
She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years, Billy Allen Benton, Sr., a sister, Karen Wilbanks, and brother, Richard Keith Bragunier.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Baker of Charlotte; son, Billy A. Benton, Jr. and wife Blake of Ocean Isle; daughter, Rena B. Hobson, and husband Ashley of Supply. She was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, Ashton Nicole Lewis, Rylan Allen Lewis, Lillian Kathryn Benton, and James Tristan Lewis, and his fiancé' Lelani Emile; and caregiver and dear friend, Debra Butler.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021, at three o'clock in the afternoon at the Lou White Memorial Chapel of White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina with Reverend Jason Benton officiating. Inurnment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens. You may view the service via Facebook Live.
