Gladys L. Nastase Hall, 80, of Snow Shoe, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on August 20, 1941, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Orazio "Tony" Nastase and Rena A. (Girardi) Nastase. On June 6, 1963, in Maryland, she married Harry J. "Teetle" Hall who survives as home.

Gladys was a 1959 graduate for Bald Eagle Area High School and a 1960 graduate of Williamsport School of Commerce. She was a life member of the Queen of Archangels Parish Church in Snow Shoe.

Gladys worked at the First National Bank in State College for a short time but was a homemaker for most of her life. She loved to play bingo, collect old dolls, and old whiskey bottles. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her mother at the family business, Nastase Beer Distributor in Snow Shoe.

Gladys is survived by her half sister, Margaret L. "Peg" Nastase of Bellefonte, sister-in-law, Carole Nastase of Snow Shoe, and various nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by two brothers: John B. Nastase and Orazio M. "Jake" Nastase, a sister-in-law, Gail M. Nastase, and a niece, Michelle Nastase Domsohn, Gladys was the last of her generation.

Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 11am at the Queen of Archangels Parish Chapel in Snow Shoe, with Father Michael Wolf officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her father in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Snow Shoe.

Gladys wanted to express her sincere appreciation to her many caregivers over the years, especially Karen and Yvonne. In addition, her family would like to thank the staff at Centre Care and Mount Nittany Medical Center for their professionalism and compassionate care that was given to Gladys.
