The funeral will be 4 p.m. Friday at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Chris Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was down to earth with a kind loving heart and never met a stranger. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 23 years, Mr. Randy Oxendine; a daughter, Mrs. Kristin Locklear (Mr. Darren); a son, Mr. Nicholas Oxendine; her mother, Ms. Comeleda Davis; a sister, Mrs. Deborah Locklear (Mr. Phil); her stepmother, Mrs. Sue Dimery; her mother-in-law, Ms. Ellen Oxendine; three grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Darren, Isabella, and Ava Locklear; her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of relatives and friends.
