Walnut - Mrs. Lillie Leak Banks, 75, of Walnut, died Monday in an Asheville nursing home after a three months illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Madison County.
Surviving are two sons, A. E. and C. C. Leak; three sisters, Mrs. Phalenia Reagan, Mrs. Jake Stines and Mrs. Carl Wallin; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
