Mark was a civil engineer by trade up until he entered Set Free ministry in 2001 where he met his wife Anna and then became married in 2003. During his journey at Set Free, Mark was the director of the ranch and had also been the director of the discipleship homes in Yucaipa. Because of his love of God and people he became a pastor in 2018 and started Set Free Church of Montclair.
He is predeceased by his brother Michael Stringer and father George Donald Stringer.
He leaves behind his wife Anna, mother Helen, children Cherie, Mark Jr., stepdaughter Megan, as well as 11 grandchildren, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at Set Free Church of Yucaipa on April 10, at 1 p.m. The church is located at 13700 Calimesa Blvd. in Yucaipa. All are welcome to attend to pay their last respects to Mark.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to Set Free Yucaipa.
