Graveside service for Gene McDorman, 69, of Fence Lake, New Mexico, were held on Oct. 29, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Fence Lake Community Cemetery.
Mr. McDorman was born on April 7, 1938, in Phoenix, Ariz., and passed away on Oct. 25, 2007 in Gallup. He was retired from the US Forest Service.
He is survived by his children: John McDorman and wife Lanae of Chino Valley, Ariz., Gina West and husband Brock of El Paso, Texas, Karmia Hamilton and husband Andrew of Edgewood and RosaLegh McDorman of Henderson, Nev.; mother: Etha Elouise McDorman of Fence Lake; brother: Gary McDorman of Fence Lake; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Janis McDorman; father: John Foster McDorman; brothers: Glenn Curtis McDorman and William Leonard McDorman.
