Nancy Lee Bennett Boyd, 90, of Ringgold, passed away April 12, 2021 at Bright Leaf Place. She was born in Danville, on March 8, 1931, daughter of Ernest L. Bennett and Lucille Yates Bennett. She spent all of her life in the Ringgold Community. She was a graduate of Dan River High School and worked for Bank of America until her retirement. She was a member of Ringgold Baptist Church. She was a very accomplished seamstress.
On August 26, 1950, she married Calvin Thomas Boyd, Sr. who died on August 11, 2007. She was also predeceased by a sister, Frances Evans; brother, William Bennett; granddaughter, Misty Adkins. Survivors include her children, Dianne B. Donahoe, Toni B. Adkins (Kenny), Cindy B. Burnett (Larry) and Calvin Boyd Jr. (Ellen); brothers, John Bennett (Ramona) and Walter Bennett (Paulette); nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many other relatives.
Burial will be in Highland Burial Park.
