Bobbie McRee Hamilton passed away on April 11, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobbie Eugene Hamilton, her son Gary Alanzo Hamilton, and her siblings Ramona James, Hazel Goodman, Rose Model, Garland ("Uncle Smitty") Smith all of Virginia Beach Virginia and Millicent Dudley of Norfolk Virginia.

She leaves behind her son Scot Hamilton of Oxnard California and her son Mark Hamilton (Cindy) of Corpus Christi Texas, her sister Gerrie Henderson of Norfolk Virginia, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved companion, Abby.

She was born on November 15, 1933 in Tampa Florida. She spent her teenage years in Norfolk Virginia where she met her husband Bobbie Eugene Hamilton. As a Navy wife, the family moved around and then settled down in Corpus Christi Texas in 1964.
She retired as a sales associate from JC Penney's. Her customers trusted her keen eye for fashion and style. They felt her warm and caring personality. She built up a clientele through the years and "her" customers always made sure to ask for her. She took great pride in her work. She loved helping people and they knew it.

Anyone that knew Bobbie knew where her heart was, with her "boys". Even after a long day of working, she would be sure to make it to their little league baseball games and other events. She took them to the beach at Bob Hall Pier, bought them burgers and played in the sand with them – often. Even though she didn't really know much about fishing, she took them fishing from the NAS pier. It was always about spending time with Scot and Mark. She loved them more life and they knew it. They felt her unconditional love and knew she would be there for anything they needed. They knew their mom really was the best.

Bobbie lived each day to its fullest. She had an array of friends and a healthy social life up to the day she left us. She never had a cross word or negative thing to say to anyone. Her kind and gentle spirit will always be remembered. Her family and friends are grateful to have had her in their lives and pray we can live life through her example. She touched us in so many ways, she will be missed but a little piece of her will always be with us.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Seaside Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with an Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the SPCA or your local animal shelter.

The family would like to invite everyone to a reception honoring Bobbie's life at The Fleet Reserve located at 1651 Flour Bluff Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78418 immediately following burial.
