Donald "Don" Beard, age 78, of Crockett, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 in the Winfield Rehab and Nursing Center. Don was born November 9, 1942 in Crockett to parents, Burtis Beard and Ola Inez Hutcherson Beard. He was a Street Foreman for the City of Crockett for 15 years and an Engineer for the Houston County Coop for 25 years. Don was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by parents, Burtis and Inez Beard; grandson, Gunnar Westbrook; brother-in-law, Armond Woolley; and nephew, Bubba Woolley.

Funeral services for Don Beard of Crockett will be held at 2:00 Thursday, April 15, 2021 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.
