Vestal Center - Beverly Johanna Curtis, 86, died peacefully March 29, 2021, at home. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carl E.Curtis; her parents, Hilda and Henry E. Strusz; her brothers, Henry, William, and sister Betty Virginia. She is survived by her daughters, Autumn Updaw (Nelson) of Endwell, and Virginia Canaan of Stillwater,OK, sister-in-law Betty Strusz; grandchildren, Rebecca Canaan of Stillwater,OK, Kyle Canaan (Lauren) of Norman; great grandchildren Capri, Cali, Carli; and many nieces and nephews.
She graduated from UE High School in 1953. She was a life-time member of the Binghamton German Club and sang for many years with the woman's choir. She was a member of the Vestal Center United Methodist Church. She retired from Binghamton University, as a library card cataloger. She loved playing piano, singing, bowling, baking, knitting and sewing.
