Suggested edit: Eva Mae Scott went home to be with her Heavenly Father on March 23, 2021. She passed away at home of natural causes.Eva was born in Bellingham, WA on December 21,1924 and married Lewis Nelson Scott on March 5,1943.Together, Lewis and Eva had seven children and also fostered several other children who still refer to them as Mom and Dad.
Eva enjoyed sewing, baking, handwork, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
She displayed unconditional love for everyone she met and became known as Auntie/Grandma bear hug.
She was an active and faithful member of Gospel Light Church in Everett, WA from age 18 to her death.
Lewis and Eva were the third couple to be married in the church.
Eva is survived by one sister, Wanda Marberg, and six children: Elsie Huskey (Paul), Barton Scott (Rita),
Arvilla Stanfield, Rhoda Neisinger (Miles), Frances Forsythe (Donald), and Janet Hughley (Tony); as well as 16 grandchildren,32 great grandchildren,8 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Scott of 66 years, her son David Scott, two brothers, Arthur and Gabe Ergler, one sister, Rosella Walker and two grandchildren, Teresa Little and Anita Stanfield.
A graveside service will be held on April 6, 2021 at 10:30 am at Cypress Lawn Cemetery in Everett, WA.
A viewing will be from 10:00-10:30 am at the graveside.
Eva had a heart for foreign missions. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Gospel Light Church Missions Ministry, 2801 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201
