Oren Dennis, 74, of Carmichael, died Thursday after a lengthy illness in his home. Born in Kansas City and raised in Iowa, Mr. Dennis was a former Stockton and Amador County resident. He retired as a self-employed serviceman with Roto-Rooter Sewer Service in Mountain View. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Dennis of Carmichael; four brothers, Loren Dennis, Frank Dennis, Jim Dennis and Eddie Dennis, all of Iowa; and four sisters, Dorothy Middlekauff of Tucszon, Ariz., Mildred Etherton of Seattle, Betty Bowers of Ronald, Iowa and Ella Franklin of Minnesota.
