Son of John Trisler (1789-1880) and Catherine (Gray) Trisler (1797-1875)of Clermont Co., Ohio. Husband of Mary M. Sargent who he married 22 Febr. 1864 in Clermont Co., Ohio. Went to Winona county by 1868. Had six children but none had children, so no descendants. In 1873, served as a Representative in the House of the Fifteenth Legislature of Minnesota (per a publication of that name dated February 1873, St. Paul, MN containing their biographies).
