Richard A. "Pap" Baxter age 83 a former Brockport, PA resident currently a resident at Highland View Health Care in Brockway, died on Wednesday April 7, 2021. Born on January 11, 1938 in Butte, Montana; he was the son of the late John and Rose Roberts McKinney. On September 26, 1959 he was married to Elsie Swinton and she preceded him in death on November 30, 2008. Retired, Pap had been employed over the years at Modern Dairy as a Milkman, at Paris Cleaners and at the Silver Bullet Cab Company as a Taxi Driver. He was a member at the Lighthouse Community Church in Brockway. Pap had served as the past president of the Groundhog CB Club in Big Run. He never missed an opportunity to attend one of his grandkids sporting events, and was an avid Pirate, Steeler and Penguin fan. He also enjoyed collecting baseball cards. He is survived by 2 daughters: Rosalie "Lynn" (Terry) Crawford of Brockway; Vicki (Corey) Jacobs of Myrtle Beach, SC; a son: Timothy (Karen) Baxter of Brockport; a brother Rev. Dr. Victor (Barbara) Baxter also of Brockport and a sister Agnes Hoover of Brockway. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who were the joy of his life.
