He married the love of his life, Mary Nash, on February 20, 1960 who survives.
David spent his entire career with Erie-Haven Redimix before retiring. He worked hard but enjoyed traveling, fishing with his grand children, NASCAR, and IU basketball.
David is also survived by children, Cindy (Myron) Dominey, Doug (Holly) Eby, Pam (Skip) Johnston, John Eby, and Bill Eby; grandchildren, Brian Dice, Sarah (Ben) Rose, Lauren Eby, Derrek (Jenna) Eby, Luke Eby, Alyssa Eby, and Emma Eby; great-grandchildren, Taylor Wegrecki, Benson Dice, Camryn & Mackenzie Rose, and Aurora Smith; and great great-grandson, Foxx Dorsett.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Riley Children's Foundation. A visitation for David will be held Friday, April 9, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Ind. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery & Mausoleum.
