Richard D. Gonzales entered eternal rest on April 4, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Wilson County, Texas on July 21, 1936 to Jacobo Montoya and Salome Montoya (Ramos). He was raised by Jose and Juanita Gonzales in San Antonio.
After graduating from Burbank High School in 1955, Richard joined the Marine Corps and served four years. Richard was a 20 year veteran of the Air Force and after retiring, he became a bus driver for Via Metropolitan for 10 years. Richard was an active member of the Knights of Columbus from St. Vincent De Paul Council 5262 serving as Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator and a District Deputy. Later Transferring to St. Bonaventure Council 10712.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, children, other relatives and many friends.
